CHEAT SHEETS

5 Daily Stand-up

In January we did a handful of videos on the subject of the daily standup.

And I had fun trying to lip-sync Brad Pitt.

4. Waterfall

From Daily Standup, we moved into Waterfall territory.

I told the tale of how my video production process moved from Agile to Waterfall - and back to Agile. I somehow managed to work pizza into the story. And a rather large boot.

3 Behaviour Driven Development

From Waterfall we moved on to Behaviour Driven Development.

I picked a bone with Dan North: the father - the godfather! - of Behaviour Driven Development!

As it turned out, I was dead wrong. But I have no regrets: I came away with a deeper insight into BDD.

2 Is Agile cost-effective?

More recently, we returned to the business side of Agile. I asked the question: “is Agile cost effective?”

I started with a Agile efficiency / effectiveness.

It was supposed to be a one off-video. But when I claimed that 1+1 = 3, I was accused of misleading the jury.

My rebuttal was most strenuous. In not one but two graph-filled episodes.

1 The Lean Startup

If you’re up for getting your teeth into something of Game Of Thrones proportions, look no further than the Lean Start-up Journey.

My cunning plan to create a course of some kind - and do so in a Lean fashion.

There were many twists and turns along the way, but in the end…

Well that would be telling, wouldn’t it?

Merry Christmas

That’s your lot - 5 playlists to enjoy over the the festive period.

Whether or not you celebrate Christmas, may I take this opportunity to wish you and your family a restful and peaceful end to 2017. I look forward to seeing you again in 2018.
